Description of the product
[Message from the farmer] Producer: Miyazaki Chabo Co., Ltd., Production area: Gokase Town, Miyazaki Prefecture, cultivation history: more than 80 years ■ We at Miyazaki Tea House started tea cultivation by planting tea seeds in the early Showa era more than 80 years ago. Our motto is "making tea that makes you feel good when you drink it." I always try to make tea that makes the customers who drink it feel energized, healed, delicious, and happy. We hope you will enjoy it once. ■ Gokase Town, where Miyazaki Tea House is located, is a mountainous area in the northern part of Miyazaki Prefecture, where you can overlook Mt. Aso, Mt. Neko, Kuju, and Mt. Soma, and the water and air are very delicious. Tea plantations spread in the high-temperature area at an altitude of 600 m, and very fragrant tea can be made depending on the temperature difference between morning and evening. Due to the high altitude, there are few pests, and Miyazaki Chabo started pesticide-free and chemical-free fertilizer-free cultivation in Showa 58, and acquired organic JAS in Heisei 13. ■ Unlike tea made by steaming, the tea is made by roasting tea leaves, which is rare in Japan, and it has a good aroma and a refreshing taste. It goes well with rice and is a perfect tea for everyday use. In addition, we are trying to make various teas such as fragrant organic black tea, oolong tea, and three-year bancha by incorporating the kama-roasting method. ■ There are times when the yield is low due to a huge amount of weeding work and pests, but everyone is working hard to cultivate tea in order to make safe and secure tea. In recognition of these efforts, we were awarded the Emperor's Cup at the National Agriculture and Forestry Festival in Heisei 14.
