  "Enshu" refers to the entire western part of Shizuoka Prefecture (the surrounding area across the Oigawa River from the Tenryu River). The main tea producing areas are Hamamatsu, Iwata, Fukuroi, Kakegawa, Kikugawa, and Makinohara. The Enshu region in the western part of Shizuoka Prefecture, where the nationally famous Ecopa Arena (Shizuoka Prefecture Ogasayama General Sports Park) is located, is a major tea producing area, accounting for approximately 35% of Shizuoka Prefecture's tea plantation area. Pesticide-free cultivated tea grown without using any pesticides or chemical fertilizers. It is characterized by the rich, deep, and mellow flavor that is unique to deep rice tea.
- This deep steamed tea is made by steaming the tea leaves just the right amount without cutting them into small pieces.
  
  It doesn't get clogged in the teapot and can be brewed quickly even with boiling water. The varieties are ``Okuhikari'' and ``Yabukita.'' ``Okuhikari'' is a tea variety that was selected in 1960 from a cross between ``Yabukita'' (mother) and Chinese variety ``Shizuka Cy225'' (father), and bred in 1985. ``Okuhikari'' was named with the hope that it would be a bright light for the tea industry in mountainous regions, as it is a late-blooming variety, has dark green and very glossy leaves, and has other characteristics that make it suitable for mountainous regions. It is characterized by a soft astringency and a refreshing sweet flavor.
- Recommended brewing method. * "Cooled hot water of around 80 degrees Celsius" is most suitable.
  
  1. Cool 200cc of hot water to about 80℃.
  2.Pour 2 tablespoons (about 6g) of tea leaves into the teapot.
  3. Pour hot water that has been cooled to 80℃ into the teapot, and pour it into the teacup for 30 seconds for the first brew, without waiting for the second brew. Please enjoy the mellow and rich flavor unique to deep rice tea.
